Challenges

To create a warm, engaging and inviting spaces within the reception, breakout and meeting rooms of the brand new Enterprise centre. Whilst the building has been funded and will be run by the council, the building needs to have its own modern identity and to reflect a Grade A office space, not a stereotypical council space.

Opportunities

Working in partnership with the council they have been incredibly open and receptive to collaborative and agile furniture pieces and modern design features, allowing us to push the creative boundaries a little further.

Solutions

We carefully selected furniture pieces which aid hybrid working in all of the shared spaces. This means the occupiers can take advantage of only paying lease for the private spaces they need, allowing them to spill out into the social and communal break out areas and meeting spaces as and when needed. Utilising acoustic phone pods, collaborative huddle benches, high back lounge chairs, hi tech meeting spaces and additional design led features, we were able to create an exciting environment, which encourages occupiers to mix and mingle and grow together.
