Pendo needed that extra space to hold large meetings and group training, with the ability to easily transition into social space.

Challenges

Eagle works was originally built in 1835, still with its original timber beams and wrought iron columns which have all been salvaged and restored as part of its long heritage. No walls or floors are straight, and lots of hard surfaces for sound to bounce around!

Opportunities

The open space, with large windows and lots of natural light, provides an energetic space, for us to adapt and enhance!

Solutions

Rustic and original charm perfectly fit the personality of the Pendo team. Building on the quirks of the space, we enhanced the gnarly floors and original features by balancing them with bright and bold features and flexible furniture. We created a space that enabled Pendo to host team lunches and training sessions, to seamlessly transition into the informal and sociable evenings with the addition of a craft beer tap, with so many local ales to choose from down at Kelham Island!
